"With its suave aromas of blackberries, cherries and violets, the 2022 Beaujolais-Villages Le Perréon is a wonderful representation of the Perréon village's granitic slopes. The supple, medium to full-bodied wine remains vibrant, thanks to the harmonious interplay of uplifting ripe acids and powdery tannins. Along the palate, the dark fruit makes way for more nuanced undertones reminiscent of sweet tobacco, black licorice and roasted coffee beans. This is a wine of immense depth yet unyielding vitality."
