Our Tasting Book is Going Digital!

Our Tasting Book is Going Digital!
Our tasting book is going digital, launching for the first time at our 2022 Grand Portfolio Tastings!
Skurnik’s new Digital Tasting Book will be replacing printed books at our in-person events, large and small, starting this May.

You can look forward to using your phone or tablet to navigate our biggest event of the year at the Met Pavilion, during focused showings right here at our Flatiron headquarters, and at tastings across the country in Ohio, California, and beyond!

Yup, those big, bulky, and beautiful books will be a large piece of Skurnik history, but since you were juggling your wine glass, spit cup, pen, tasting book, and phone anyway– we thought it was time to lose the book to simplify your tasting experience (and hopefully save a few trees in the process!) Our Digital Tasting Book will elevate Skurnik’s in-person events, while maintaining the same ease of use as its printed counterparts.

We took the book and put it on your phone, plus added a few features enabled by this change:

  • TECH INFO
Technical details for every wine, spirit, sake, and cider present at each of our tastings will be right at your fingertips.

  • SEARCH & FILTER
Narrow down tastings to find exactly what wine and spirits you’ve shown up for based on region, price, farming practice, and more.

  • NOTES & LISTS
Star, note, and save your favorites, in the moment; then, categorize those favorites and view them post-tasting. ‘BTG List’? Sweet. ‘For the Cellar’? Sure.

Stay tuned for more info on how the digital book will work, FAQs, and more.

We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on with you!
