Straight Rye Whiskey, 'Tumblin' Dice - Small Batch'

• Small batch straight rye whiskey selected, blended, and bottled by Proof and Wood in New Canaan, Connecticut
• Distilled on a column still in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from a mash bill of 95% rye, 5% malted barley
• Distilled in 2015, aged in new charred oak barrels, and bottled in 2023; non-age statement
• Blend of 11 barrels total
• Non-chill filtered; 58.2% ABV

A tranche of barrels comprising MGP’s beloved 95/5 rye whiskey was divided into a small-batch blend and a handful of single barrels; one of those single barrels recently won World’s Best Single Cask Single Rye at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards. As delicious as that 7-year-old single cask is, this blend of barrels from the same distillation run now has the benefit of an additional year of age and, of course, Proof and Wood’s acumen for blending exceptional whiskey.
