Trousseau Noir

Trousseau Noir Broc Cellars

This is Broc’s fifth vintage of making Trousseau after they had old Syrah vines grafted at Wirth Ranch in 2016. Matthew Rorick Heritage Vineyard provided the cuttings which were taken from the Jackson Vineyard library, planted back in 1988.

The Trousseau and Zinfandel grapes for the 2021 vintage were 100% destemmed and fermented together in open top stainless fermenters. After pressing, the wine was moved into concrete tank for 6 months and is unfiltered.
