Sotol 'Chihuahua'

• Sotol produced in Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico
• Maestro Sotolero “Lulo” Lopez
• 100% Sotol (Dasylirion wheeleri)
• Cooked in a traditional earthen pit oven 
• Milled by hand using a small axe
• Fermented with natural yeasts and spring water 
• Distilled twice in a hybrid copper & wood pot still
• Rich and green with strong aromas of butterscotch, carmelized fennel, powdered chocolate, papaya skin, paprika, petrol, and pine tar, cleaned up on the finish by a mineral touch of wet slate, saline and iodine—like a fresh sea breeze
• 110 liters produced in March 2022
• 47.5% ABV (ABV may vary batch to batch)
