Cumbrita de la Sierra is a 100% single-producer-owned brand of uncertified agave spirit from the northern state of Chihuahua. Maestro Destilador Dolores González works to preserve his community’s deep regional distillation heritage in the small town of Batopilas.

Sotol is a Mexican spirit made from a variety of plant (also called sotol) using methods similar to mezcal: the heart of the plant is roasted in a pit oven, imparting a smoky flavor. Each bottle of Flor del Desierto sotol is a direct translation of the soil and culture of Chihuahua.

Sotol Don Celso is helmed by sixth-generation maestro sotolero Jacob Jacquez, who continues his family’s legacy of sotol production in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, distilling the category’s benchmark bottling, Sotol Por Siempre.

For 800 years, the Tarahumara have produced Sotol for their spiritual ceremonies, led by their revered Shaman (Onó). Sotol Onó is made from 100% Dasylirion cedrosanum by Maestro Sotolero Ubaldo Ruelas and is named for the indigenous people of Chihuahua and their ancestral traditions.
