• Aged for a minimum of 5 years in a blend of 20% Founder’s casks (a proprietary selection of two barrel types that highlight the round, fruit-forward nature of the Tenmile distillate), 16% ex-Oloroso sherry casks from from Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Jerez, Spain, and 64% ex-bourbon casks; non-age statement

Tenmile kicks off the twelfth chapter in its celebration of America’s 250th birthday with a richly layered vatting of its signature single malt. Deftly connecting the nuances of three distinctly delicious maturation regimens, the distillery leans into the sublime character of its signature fruit-and-grain-forward spirit. This celebratory release speaks to a time when the fate of the young republic (the events of the Siege of Ticonderoga took place just after the fort’s garrison had raised a glass to toast America’s first anniversary) was in the balance. What ended up being a strategic retreat from a critical stronghold nonetheless spared the fort’s troops from capture, meaning they would survive to continue the fight for independence on another day.
