• Limited edition small batch American single malt whisky produced by Tenmile Distillery in Wassaic, New York
• The seventh release in Tenmile’s Revolutionary Series, celebrating the semiquincentennial of the United States
• 100% unpeated, floor-malted New York State barley sourced from Hudson Valley Malt in Germantown, New York
• Water for production comes from a well on the Tenmile property
• Fermented for 7 days in a temperature-controlled closed-top stainless steel fermenter
• Twice distilled in Forsyths copper pot stills
• Aged for 5 years in a 70/30 combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain
• Once the separate maturations are complete, the spirit is blended and allowed to homogenize for up to 60 days prior to being proofed down and bottled
• 600 bottles produced
• Inviting comparison with its Speyside cousins, this un-peated American single malt whisky opens with mellow notes of honey complemented by caramel and cinnamon. Warm cereal, toasted hazelnuts, and late-summer orchard fruits follow, leading to layers of dark chocolate and spiced, stewed figs, plus a hint of tangerine. Fresh cereal and a fine sense of barrel linger on the finish.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Tenmile Distillery is releasing a “Revolutionary” series of single malt whiskies in collectible, limited editions. Each expression showcases Tenmile’s distinctive craft-forward, malt-driven whisky style through the lens of a different finishing regimen. Six bottlings have been released to date, and twelve will be released in 2026. Each of the expressions in the series (there will be 57 in total; 55 battles are recognized, along with a pivotal figure, and a noteworthy institution) will carry its own specialized label (designed by Aaron Koskela in a style familiar from his work at creative house Stranger & Stranger) detailing moments in a narrative that still feels very much alive in the distillery’s Upstate New York environs.
