• Blend of straight rye whiskies sourced, blended, and bottled by Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky
• Composed of a selection of 5-, 6-, 10-, and 14-year-old rye whiskies distilled and aged in Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Canada
• Derived mash bill of 89% rye, 7% corn, and 4% malted barley
• Blackberry, dried apricot, brioche, dandelion root, and peppermint on the nose precede a sweet and savory palate of grape soda, maple, burnt marshmallow, leather, Dijon mustard, and black olive. A resinous finish carries piquant notes of mole poblano, black pepper, juniper, and thyme.
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 57.85% ABV

Barrell’s Rye Batch #4 highlights rye’s earthier side with a base of sweet and smokey 10-year-old Indiana rye to which 5- and 6-year-old barrels from Indiana, Tennessee, and Kentucky were layered in for fruit and spice. Dry, herbaceous, 14-year-old Canadian rye rounds out the blend, resulting in a fruit-forward whiskey with notes of tobacco and leather over peppery stewed red fruit and savory tapenade.
