• 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot
• 100% estate grown at Sage Mountain Vineyard (Pritchard Hill)
• 38 acres planted in 1991 and 1996
• Rock-Hambright loam & Sobrante loam soil series 1300-1600 ft. elevation
• All fruit is selectively hand-harvested at night
• Native yeast fermentation in French oak and concrete tanks
• Three-day cold soak, three to four pump-overs daily
• 17 to 30 days on the skins
• All lots are then drained, basket pressed, and transferred with lees for malolactic fermentation
• Aged for 22 months in French oak (66% new)
• 14.9% abv
