"From vines located in Vergisson, the 2024 Pouilly-Fuisse Pastoral is raised one-third in demi-muids and the remainder in pieces. Again, this is quite reductive on the nose, which is difficult to read at the moment. The palate is fresh and very lively on the entry (as if compensating for the aromatics) with stem ginger and peppery notes. Very harmonious, complex and long in the mouth, this has huge potential, though it will require some patience."

"The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissš Pastoral comes from later ripening vines, four parcels, the more precocious parcels raised in demi-muids and the others in barrel. Another exquisite bouquet, wonderful delineation with citrus peel, pear and a touch of praline that blossoms in the glass. The palate is very well balanced, quite saline in the mouth, fine weight and density with hints of almond and a dab of coconut on the finish. This is utterly delicious and will be difficult to resist in its youth."

"An intense white, featuring lime blossom, citronella, apricot, mineral and baking spice aromas and flavors. Balanced and well-defined, extending with a fruit, spice and mineral aftertaste. Drink now through 2027. 500 cases made, 100 cases imported."Bruce Sanderson"

"The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissš Pastoral, raised half in demi-muids and half inÿpiŠces, probably has the most reductive nose at present. Difficult to read. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity, quite a serious Pouilly-Fuissš that becomes spicier towards the finish. This is for the more patient fans of this Domaine."
