"The 2024 Etna Rosso Pistus is darkly floral, offering geraniums and violets with nuances of ash and musky citrus before arriving at wild strawberries. The palate is rounded and cooling with fresh wild berry fruits. Brisk acidity maintains energy as the 2024 concludes with a tart sensation and hints of licorice. This is dangerously drinkable but also complex."

"The I Custodi 2024 Etna Rosso Pistus is a blend of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio. Lean and clean, the wine follows classic lines that offer a transparent view onto its Etna varieties. Compact red berry and redcurrant are joined by cassis, kirsch and candied cherry. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in bottle, it has a medium-lean mouthfeel and a direct, accessible personality."

"90Drinking Window: 2025 - 2029Eric Guido, May 2025The 2023 Etna Rosso Pistus wafts up with a remarkably fresh bouquet of rose petals, wild strawberries and cedary spice. It's juicy and round with vibrant acidity driving crisp red berry fruit and hints of sour citrus. The finish leaves a crunch of minerality and violet inner florals."
