"The 2024 Etna Rosso Pignatuni is deeply perfumed, offering cherries, blueberries, balsamic spice, dried flowers and hints of dusty earth. The palate is rounded and cool-toned with tart blackberry and violet florals. The finale is staining and pleasantly chewy with tremendous length, leaving nuances of candied raspberry to linger. The Etna Rosso Pignatuni is pure seduction."

"From one of Etna's smaller, stone-strewn contrade, the organic Bella-Colonna 2024 Etna Rosso Pignatuni is rich, pulpy and pithy, with stone fruit tones of apricot and nectarine that surround a core of blackcurrant. There is sweetness and juicy grip to the tannins, which work beautifully with the wine's opulence and ripeness. Lightly fined with bentonite to smooth out the angles, this is a delightful wine with plenty of flavor and richness."
