"Just three barrels were produced of the 2024 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, a wine that emerges from the glass with aromas of black plum, red cherry, smoke and orange peel, mingled with rose petals. Medium- to full-bodied, supple and inviting, the palate reveals a perfumed core of fruit, refined tannins and a lingering finish, offering none of the structural austerity this vintage can sometimes exhibit"a quality partially attributable to the warmth of the parcel situated just below Château de la Tour. Processed largely by hand, more than 70% of the clusters were cut up so that only the berries on their pedicels were retained, followed by maturation in barrel, one-third of which were new."

"The 2023 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru includes around 40% whole bunch, as the bunches were larger this year. Boasting wonderful delineation and precision, it has a lifted bouquet with dark berry fruit, hints of brown spices and blackcurrant leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins. Linear, focused and tensile from start to finish, there is a touch of piquancy toward the finish. Outstanding."
