"Checking in as a blend of 77% Grenache and 23% MourvŠdre, the 2020 Ch'teauneuf Du Pape Urgonien 1.14 Ha was brought up mostly in concrete tank but about 10% was raised in old barrels. It has a gorgeous bouquet of black raspberries, camphor, rose petals, and peppery herbs, which carries to a medium to full-bodied, seamless 2020 with fine tannins and a great finish. Its oak is perfectly integrated, and it has a certain Burgundian-like character in both its aromas and flavors. Drink bottles over the coming decade or so."
