"Joseph Colin has produced a Chassagne En Caillerets that is among the great wines of the village in 2024, offering pronounced aromas of lemon peel, acacia flowers, iodine and smoke. The texture is fresh and lively, but there is enough concentration and body here to allow the wine to age for decades. The domaine farms 0.40ha of very old vines (up to 100 years old) at the top of the slope, in thin, rocky soils. They are gently pressed and aged in 500- and 600-litre barrels (10% new) for a year and in tank for another four months."
