This wine comes from Quintessence, Klipsun, and Obelisco vineyards in the Red Mountain AVA. These particular vineyards always express the terroir of Red Mountain especially well. The rich soils, dependable air drainage, and limited rainfall result in highly concentrated berries with dense skins, rich inky color, and daring complexity.

The full-bodied palate offers restrained ripeness and concentrated flavors and is refreshingly easy to drink. It's structured by rounded tannins and juicy acidity and has a long, nuanced finish. 630 cases were made."
