Bourbon Whiskey, Very Olde St. Nick, 'Immaculata - 2026 Blend'

Bourbon Whiskey Very Olde St Nick Immaculata 2026 Blend Preservation Distillery
  • Limited edition small batch bourbon whiskey produced by Preservation Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky
  • Blend of Preservation’s own distillate and Kentucky bourbons from undisclosed distilleries
  • Undisclosed wheated and high-rye mash bills
  • Aged 9–18 years in new American oak; non-age statement
  • Blended in micro-batches of 1–3 barrels
  • A show-stopping, flashing rosy copper in the glass, this whiskey opens with seductive notes of butterscotch and oozing golden raisin, accented with a whiff of cedar box. Orchard fruits, anise, sassafras, and a distinct whiff of candy-shop ride atop a lusciously textured palate, leading to a soft but persistent finish.
  • Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 59.1% ABV (ABV may vary batch to batch)

While continuing to inspire a devoted fan base by releasing micro-batch blends of its coveted historical stock, the team at Preservation has been quietly perfecting their own whiskey making, laying down barrels with an eye to the future. So, while whiskey aficionados will be drawn to the eye-catching 18-year-old component in this blend, it’s the other end of the age spectrum where the magic lies. Now comprising a greater proportion of the expression, the younger, congener-rich pot still whiskeys—arriving at an early sweet spot in the age spectrum—serve notice for what’s next for this celebrated producer. For a distillery now entering its second decade, it’s a dangerously delicious exclamation point. Bravo!
