• A show-stopping, flashing rosy copper in the glass, this whiskey opens with seductive notes of butterscotch and oozing golden raisin, accented with a whiff of cedar box. Orchard fruits, anise, sassafras, and a distinct whiff of candy-shop ride atop a lusciously textured palate, leading to a soft but persistent finish.

So, while whiskey aficionados will be drawn to the eye-catching 18-year-old component in this blend, it’s the other end of the age spectrum where the magic lies. Now comprising a greater proportion of the expression, the younger, congener-rich pot still whiskeys—arriving at an early sweet spot in the age spectrum—serve notice for what’s next for this celebrated producer.
