"The 2023 Un Instant sur Terre is a macerated assemblage of Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Muscat that spent eight months in different amphorae. Sourced on the slopes and from the north side of the Mambourg, this bright, orange-colored wine opens with a very elegant and charmingly intense bouquet of red and yellow fruits that is remarkably intense yet also refined. Round and dense on the palate, this is a very elegant and refined, deep yet almost weightless orange wine with highly refined tannins and a very long, intense and saline finish. This is a spectacularly complex and refined wine on the level of the Deiss grands crus yet made in the orange style. The quality of the tannins is high and delicate and so is the mineral and saline acidity. You get bitter fruit flavors on the long and intense finish. This is an exciting wine, very intense yet finessed and saline. 14.5% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the Domaine Deiss in November 2024."
