"This is a strikingly original expression of Alsace. Aromas of quince, muscat and melon. Quite a big, full-bodied wine, but the exciting interplay of serious tannins with abundant depth and spices gives this so much interest in the long, structured finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold. Glass stopper."

"The 2023 Singulier opens with an inviting mix of peppery yeast, orange peel, peach and apple freshness. Much more aeration reveals a touch of orange flower. It is a half-and-half blend of Riesling and Pinot Gris, co-macerated on skins for two and a half weeks. The palate is wonderfully peppery, linear and bright, with slightly astringent tannins. This is full of direction, crunchy structure and poise. The finish is bone dry and very appetizing. (Bone-dry)"

"The golden/apricot-colored 2023 Singulier is a macerated cuvée of 50% Riesling and 50% Pinot Gris that is precise, fresh and intense on the floral and spicy nose. Macerated in stainless steel, pressed and aged in stainless steel, the wine is round, refined and juicy on the elegant and aromatic palate. The finish is dry, finely tannic and also intense and almost textured like a red wine. Aeration will add further complexity to the wine. 13.5% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the Domaine Deiss in November 2024."
