"Based on partly macerated Gewurztraminer and 20% Riesling, the 2023 Vigne en Rose opens with a pure, deep and slightly flinty bouquet of lychees, roses and ripe lemon fruits. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a refined, intense and stimulating palate-cleansing Gewürztraminer that's uplifted by Riesling. The finish is spicy, tight, grippy and saline, with superb intensity and Gewürztraminer features. This is an excellent and characterful, well-structured and low-sulfured wine that I can highly recommend. 14% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the Domaine Deiss in November 2024."
