A small, family-run farm in Barbaresco totaling just 5 hectares, Carlo owns land in the famous crus of Ovello, Montefico, Cole and Asili. Spontaneous fermentation, long macerations and aging in large oak cask define this traditional estate. Since 2014 Dante Scaglione is the consulting enologist.
Cavallotto is the chief owner of the beautiful Bricco Boschis cru in Castiglione Falletto where they have bottled their own wine since 1948. Siblings Alfio, Giuseppe and Laura craft traditional, richly structured wines of great longevity, including their famed San Giuseppe and Vignolo Riservas.
