Domaine de Fa was founded in 2013 by Graillot brothers Maxime and Antoine. When they decided to look North beyond the dramatic slopes of the Rhone Valley, they struck gold and purchased prime high-altitude vineyards in Fleurie and Saint Amour and are now making some of the finest wines in the area.

Domaine des Marrans is located in Fleurie, in the heart of the northernmost section of Beaujolais. Founded in 1970, the current owner is the talented Mathieu Mélinand, who joined the domaine in 2008. With old vines and granite sites, Mathieu is growing some of the area’s most pristine Gamay.

Loïc Crispin and Fabien Pinguet of Domaine les Garçons are two friends who have taken over a portion of Loïc’s family’s vineyards in the village of Charentay, within the Brouilly appellation. In just a few years the pair are already making gorgeously high-toned, crispy, biodynamic Beaujolais.

Domaine du Clos du Fief is run by the 4th generation father-son team of Michel and Sylavain Tête in Juliénas and Julié. They harken their wines back to the classics: low yields, meticulously farmed vineyards, and classic winemaking resulting in serious and mouthwatering terroir driven reds.

The domaine encompasses 14 hectares with vineyard holdings in the home village of Juliénas and extending through the neighboring villages of Jullié, Chénas, La Chapelle de Guinchay and Leynes. All harvesting is done manually and treatments in the vineyards are minimal.

Domaine de Bel Air perches over the Ardieres Valley as it has for nearly 170 years. Winemaker Jean-Marc Lafont and his wife Annick have been running the estate since 1985. They keep with tradition and produce highly expressive wines that have clear terroir expression.
