The Kodama brewery was founded in 1879 in Katagami City, Akita Prefecture at the foot of Mt. Taiheizan (“Great Peaceful Mountain”). Blessed with abundant quality rice & fresh clean mountain water, over the generations they have nurtured and developed a renowned expertise in brewing sake.
Founded in 1830, Tenju Shuzo is currently led by two brothers, Takeshi Ohi as the President and Hitoshi Ohi as the Managing Director. Located in Akita prefecture, the brewery is situated next to ‘Dewa Fuji’, Dewa Mountains that is next to Koyoshi River water that is optimal for sake brewing
