"Mellow and calm, with very striking interplay of smoky lees character with candied peach and orange flavors. Wonderful textural complexity through the long, powerful finish. Matured for three years on the lees in well-used oak casks. From biodynamically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold. Screw cap."

"The 2020 Wachenheim R Riesling trocken opens with a deep, clear, intense and complex, lemony and saline bouquet that indicates first maturity. Full-bodied, tight and intense on the palate, this is a juicy and saline Riesling that is quite powerful and tannic and fruitier, rounder and juicier than the 2023 Wachenheimer Riesling. This is still young and asking for patience. 12% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025."
