"As noted in the introduction to my coverage of the Breuer 2015 collection, there is a recent influx of new casks in this cellar, and one catches a faint, resinous whiff of Pfalz oak on the nose here. But it’s not obtrusive, and there is a rounded feel to the palate that may also owe something to the presence of young wood. Scents of lemon and lime are accompanied by sea breeze and a hint of bittersweet floral perfume. Juicy citrus persists into an animating finish mouthwateringly tinged with salt and mingled with savory meat stock."
