"The 2018 Taurasi Renonno is youthfully coiled, densely packed and powerful, with a blast of crushed rocks, ash, incense and dried black cherries forming its bouquet. Silken and serene on the palate, it takes a turn toward elegance, mixing sour citrus and salty minerals with depths of tart wild berry fruit. The 2018 leaves the cheeks puckered with tension as edgy tannins resonate and a saturation of black currant and spice lingers on and on. Just an infant today. Bury it deep."

"The 2016 Taurasi Renonno has only gotten better in bottle over the last year. It,s now creamy and full-bodied with plush black fruits and a bouquet of sweet tobacco, earth and spice. Silky tannins linger on and on, yet the balance is otherworldly. An upgrade is in order."
