Rosé 'California'

80% Valdiguie, 10% Carignan and 10% Barbera • Valdiguie is sourced from 100+ year old vines from Leticia’s Vineyard in Suisun Valley • The Valdiguie was direct to press rose into a stainless steel tank and allowed to settle and then racked again to another tank to begin fermentation • The remaining Mendocino Carignan and Amador Barbera were saignee rose and added to the Valdiguie the same time it was beginning to ferment • Mid-way through fermentation, the blended wine was transferred to stainless steel drums to complete fermentation at cellar temp • After 3 weeks of fermentation, and the stoppage of malolactic fermentation, the wine rested on its lees until being racked and bottled in February in 2024 • 12.7% ABV
