"The NV Libertine No. 9 is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Bold, punchy and aromatic, the No. 9 is a delight. Savory, earthy notes play off a core of red-toned fruit. This release is mostly 2023, with about 30% of the Libertine No. 8, a sort of perpetual reserve very similar to how many non-vintage Champagnes are made. It's an approach that works surprisingly well."
