"From a northeast-facing site with vines planted in 1934, the 2024 Pouilly-Fuisse En Buland Vieilles Vignes opens with a reductive edge before revealing yellow fruits, white flowers, honey and sea salt. Medium- to full-bodied, it is dense and grounded, arriving with punch and energy from tangy acidity, before stretching into a long, measured finish, where oak lends a creamy texture. A high-tension, complex wine with the components needed to reward patience in bottle, allowing its layered mid-palate nuances to emerge with time."
