"The 2024 Pouilly-Fuisse 1er Cru La Marechaude Le Bas opens with an expressive nose of ripe orchard fruit and blossom. The palate veers more tropical with passion fruit, yet despite its concentration and ripeness, the wine remains evenly composed, with its weight spreading evenly across the palate. Medium- to full-bodied, it is balanced by tangy acidity, a mouthwatering saline edge and a touch of orange-rind bitterness."
