"The 2024 Pinot Noir The Bohan-Dillon is a very pretty, delicate offering. Crushed red berry fruit, chalk, mint and cranberry give the 2024 lovely aromatic lift to match its gracious, understated personality. This fresh, vibrant and light-bodied Pinot has much to recommend it."

"This entry in the Hirsch lineup is an homage to the village wines of France. Hirsch applies the same attention to detail here as they do with all of their wines " and at a great value. The balance on the nose borders on perfection with undeniable, all Pinot Noir everything, with subtle plum-like cherry notes and earthy thyme. The palate shows everything on the nose along with fantastic balance and a soft all-encompassing mouthfeel. It™s amazing. Acid, fruit, tannin. All of it is in harmony."

"This is so crunchy and refined, with beautiful fresh strawberry, orange peel, citrus, flint and slate aromas. Medium-bodied, crisp and clean, with just a hint of tannin at the end. A blend of three vineyards: Hirsh 43%, Hellenthal 22% and Heitz 35%. What a gorgeous pinot. Drink now."

"The 2021 The Bohan-Dilon Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from three vineyards in western Sonoma: Hirsch, Heintz and Hellenthal. It has slowly unfurling scents of raspberry preserves, saline, licorice, cinnamon, tea leaves and orange peel. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with berry, earth and floral layers. It has an alluringly silky texture, mouthwatering acidity and a long, layered finish. It's a notably expressive version of Bohan-Dillon and one you could cellar over the next decade."

"The Bohan Dillon Pinot Noir is Hirsch™s gateway to their lineup. As the 'entry-level' wine in the portfolio, this bottling outshines many everyday Pinots. It blends two coastal sites"Hirsch and Hellenthal"and an inland vineyard, Heintz. As a result, you get a wine that expresses both regions' characteristics. The 2023 vintage shows a light ruby colour in the glass that matches the wine aromatics, leading into elegantly effortless notes of juicy red berries, soft, sweet florals, and a whisper of coastal herbs"nothing overpowers. On the palate, a touch of minerality meets tart cranberries and fresh raspberries, all lifted by well-integrated, mouthwatering acidity. Made to be drunk young, this easy medium-bodied Pinot is a go-to for a roasted chicken dinner or a pizza night."

"The 2023 The Bohan-Dilon Pinot Noir is a blend of estate and purchased fruit and, with just 12.9% alcohol, is particularly easy to drink. It has a pale ruby color and alluring scents of raspberry, sour cherry, orange, licorice and bitters. The light-bodied palate offers crunchy, citrus-laced flavors. It™s framed by soft, chalky tannins and vibrant acidity and has a long finish laced with spice and floral perfume. 2,000 cases were made."

"The 2020 The Bohan-Dilon Pinot Noir has slowly opening scents of cranberry sauce, red berries, mushroom, cinnamon and mossy bark. The light-bodied palate is chalky and refreshing with concentrated, layered flavors and a long, spicy finish. Drink it over the next 2-3 years."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir The Bohan-Dillon is a very pretty, understated offering from Hirsch. Silky tannins wrap around a core of bright red-toned fruit, cedar, sweet pipe tobacco and dried herbs. This mid-weight Pinot is all charm. Those qualities are best enjoyed over the next handful of years."

"Not that much nose. But very pretty fruit on the palate. Really quite gentle, with light greenness (redwood?) on the palate. Long and youthful."
