"The 2023 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard echoes its Chardonnay counterpart in its combination of textural power and clear-cut, mineral-driven energy. It wafts from the glass with lifted, herbal notes, supported by perfumed, candied dark-fruit aromas along with rhubarb and anise accents. The palate is sleek, tensile and saturated, concluding with a taut, refined, subtly toasted finish that lingers with earthy undertones. Due to the Tyler team's track record with this site, I can easily see this adding even more dimension and complexity after more time in bottle."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard has a very floral, herbaceous profile. Rose petal, blood orange, white flowers and cedar are all accented by stem-induced spices and herbal flourishes. It's quite a delicate wine."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard is the brightest, most red-fruited of the Pinot Noirs, leading with a stony, lifted and fragrant nose of dried herbs, pomegranate and orange peels. The palate is silky and spry, with a deft plushness filling in the mid-palate, finishing with a dramatically sturdy, tense finish. Due to the compressed harvest, I find it a bit brighter than usual and without its typical low-end richness, but it is a beautiful expression nonetheless."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard is airy and lifted, with lovely balance to match its chiseled, mid-weight personality. Crushed rocks, mint, white pepper, anise and dried flowers are nicely delineated. The Rinconada offers good power and drive, but it is also a touch light, especially in the mid-palate."

"The 2021 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard, vinified entirely with whole clusters, features scents of raspberry, pomegranate, black tea leaves, blood orange and Angostura bitters, revealing earthy accents as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and tense, with a concentrated core of alluringly herbal fruit and a long, ethereal finish. It will benefit from 3-5 years in bottle."
