"Quite ambitious yet fragrant with strawberries and pomegranate, licorice and black pepper. Light-bodied, it shows velvety tannins of relatively light extraction and a refreshing finish. Drink now."

"Darkly floral, the 2024 Pinot Nero mixes cedar shavings with woodland herbs and citrus-laced black cherries. It is round and soft-textured with a stream of zesty acidity and tart red berry fruits to contrast. The 2024 leaves a subtle tannic crispness while maintaining energy as violet-laced strawberry tones resonate."

"This has a pretty nose of strawberries, redbush tea and cherry stones. It™s medium-bodied, bright and crunchy on the palate, with lightly chalky tannins. Drink now or in the next few years."

"Fresh and linear, the 2023 Pinot Nero also boasts personality, delivering sensations of red berry, rhubarb, white pepper and smoky mineral. It™s already accessible, with supple tannins while bright acidity keep it balanced. Drink trough 2026. Abv: 13% Kerin O™Keefe October 2024"

"Pretty, lifted aromas of cranberry, tart cherry, and delicate floral hints set the stage for this wine. Its classic Pinot Noir character shines through with bright red fruit, balanced by a subtle earthiness. The finish adds a savory, grounded touch, a well-crafted and elegant wine. " Jeff Porter"

"A young and vibrant expression of the Burgundian grape, the Abbazia di Novacella 2021 Alto Adige Pinot Nero shows redcurrant, delicate rose, honey and candied violet. The wine's personality is fragile and light, with a very streamlined performance. The wine sees 15 days of skin contact in stainless steel followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in large oak casks. Fruit comes from vineyards in Appiano (from 350 to 420 meters in elevation) with reddish, fine-grained soils made with porphyry rock."
