Mission Gin

• New Western gin produced by Brucato in San Francisco, California
• A total of 10 botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica, Meyer lemon peel, fennel seed, green cardamom, bay leaf, grains of paradise, and dried orange peel
• Base spirit of unaged grape brandy distilled in Sebastopol, California
• Botanicals incorporated in a third distillation on a 2000-liter stainless steel iStill hybrid still
• Juniper is macerated directly in the pot before distillation and the remaining botanicals are incorporated via steam infusion
• A savory nose of bay laurel, tarragon, lemon balm, and green cardamom leads to a silky, citrus-forward palate with a dry finish
• 45% ABV

Inspired by the vibrancy of San Francisco’s Mission District, Brucato builds their dry gin on a base of bay laurel and fennel, two botanicals abundantly found in the Bay Area’s culinary and cocktail scene. Juniper still plays an essential role, however, and this savory and bright gin performs beautifully in place of a classic London Dry in a myriad of cocktails.
