"A very well-made malbec that shows excellent drinkability with its black cherries, potpourri, violets, subtle spices and stemmy, herbal freshness. Round and juicy with a medium body on the palate, delivering firm yet creamy tannins and a fruit-oriented finish. Drink now."

"The nose of the 2023 Gran Terroir Malbec is riper and has black rather than red fruit, as they look for more exuberant fruit. This is a more classical Malbec with 14.5% alcohol and grainy tannins. It has some spicy notes and a smoky hint after maturing in third, fourth and fifth use barrels for 14 months. 25,000 bottles were filled in July 2022."

"The 2024 Malbec Gran Terroir, from Gualtallary, Uco Valley, starts with ripe fruit"fresh plum, blueberry and a lightly liqueur-like blackberry. The palate shows grip and some marked ripeness, with richness that remains well balanced. A touch of chalk adds finesse. The 2024 is pleasing and expressive."

"The 2020 Malbec Gran Terroir from Gualtallary, Uco Valley, was aged for 16 months in used barrels. Purple in hue. The nose offers vivid notes of violet, sour cherry, fresh plum and black tea. In the mouth the freshness is sharp and flow juicy with good, chalky tension and finely grained but voluptuous tannins. An expressive, primary red."
