Stella Crinita

Stella Crinita is a biodynamic project established in 2002, which located in Argentina’s Uco Valley by husband and wife duo, Joanna Foster and Ernesto Catena. Joanna’s family is from Malaysia, India and the UK and has travelled with her mother, who’s life as an activist took her around the globe. On the other hand, Ernesto Catena’s family is practically Argentine wine royalty and met Joanna when her social environmental work brought her to Argentina in 1995. Together, they planted their first vineyard in the Vista Flores subregion of Tunuyan, and became interested in natural wine making in the early 2010’s. Tied with their combined passion for social and environmental justice, Stella Crinita is guided by these core values in creating authentic and vibrant wines.
