"Greatness is written all over this dry riesling masterpiece, but in spite of that, it creeps up on you very stealthily and you don't realize what's really going on until you have been gently pulled far too deep into this riesling black hole. So graceful and filigree at the almost endless finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Wild-fermented in large neutral oak. Very limited production. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2022 Riesling Forster Kirchenstück G.C. always is a bundle of power. Reduction still clouds the nose. The palate is strait-laced, a streak, a vision of bundled citrus that unites ripe lemon and Meyer lemon zest. This is precise, concentrated, bullet-like in its relentless directness, citrus-scented, impactful and still tightly coiled. The finish allows the yeasty texture to settle and the herbal tisane to shimmer. Lovely, bright, vivid and monumental. (Bone-dry)"
