PUNI GOLD is matured in the distillery’s above-ground warehouses, where the impact of the climatic differences between summer and winter accelerates the natural maturation rate of this exquisite whisky.

Tasting Notes

Distilled from a combination of barley, wheat, and rye (all malted), PUNI GOLD is the most traditional of the PUNI whiskies. It is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels for five years, producing flavors of vanilla, toasted oak, and sweet malted barley. Mellow and soft on the palate, it tastes far more mature than expected from its half decade in wood. Non-chill filtered with no added coloring. 43% ABV
