"Juniper, blueberry, loganberry, lavender. Very smooth, very juicy and pure with a little inner sweetness to the fruit. This is the most elegant red Hermitage of the vintage, not over-extracted or over-oaked, nor is it terribly concentrated. Pure, not loud, with a svelte shape and fine tannins. From the lieux-dits Les Dionnières at the foot of the hill, yielding 40hl/ha in 2018. Vinified in open demi-muids, manual punching down two or three times a day. Followed by malolactic fermentation and 14 months ageing in third-use barriques."
