"The 2023 Grenache Whole Cluster is explosively floral, rushing from the glass with a potpourri of blossoms and a veritable perfume shop of aromas. Expansive and saturating, it soaks into the palate with absolute grace. The 2023 wears its whole-cluster character elegantly, gaining lift and energy without any vegetal tones. Incense, sandalwood and delicate hints of citrus peel add nuance. Sourced from Shake Ridge, Michaud and Vie Caprice, the 2023 is greater than the sum of its parts."

"Slightly deeper hued and semi-opaque, the 2023 Grenache Whole Cluster is an exotic red berry, rose petal, and spice bomb, with a kiss of underlying minerality. Medium-bodied, nicely textured, round and supple, its stems are beautifully integrated, and it has integrated acidity and outstanding length. Based on 100% Grenache fermented with 100% whole clusters and aged 11 months in neutral barrels, it should evolve gracefully through 2033. Drink 2025-2033."

"The 2022 Grenache Whole Cluster is a two-barrel blend from Santa Barbara Highlands and Vie Caprice done with 100% stems. Bright and savory, the 2022 is another superb wine in this range. Red cherry fruit, orange peel spice, tobacco and cedar lend an exotic flair to this mid-weight, wonderfully complex Grenache. There,s some sternness on the finish that needs time to resolve."

"Not destemmed and brought up in neutral barrels, the 2022 Grenache Whole Cluster has a similar translucent light ruby hue to the Santa Barbara County release yet brings a touch more spice and white pepper notes in its sweet red fruits and floral nuances. It's medium-bodied, balanced, has a supple, elegant mouthfeel, and impressive length."
