"The 2024 Fiano di Avellino opens with a vibrant burst of crushed yellow apples, raw almonds, white flowers and citrus-y spice. The palate is juicy to the core with brisk acidity and ripe orchard fruits. A pretty inner sweetness offsets a salty mineral inflection toward the close as hints of sour lime fade."

"The savory 2023 Fiano di Avellino opens with notes of raw almond and sesame seed that complement white peach. It sweeps across the palate with a salty mix of minerals and orchard fruits while an air of chamomile adds contrast toward the close. The 2023 tapers off with dramatic length and subtle tension, leaving a tinge of green citrus and saline concentration to fade slowly."

"Fragrant with wild sage and orange peel notes on the nose, this version offers a minerally streak of flint and saline that underscore the palate's rich range of apricot, macerated raspberry, pink grapefruit zest, slivered almond and honeycomb. Medium-bodied, vibrant and well-meshed, with a long, racy finish. Drink now through 2027. 800 cases made, 200 cases imported.‡Alison Napjus"

"Bright and juicy, with pineapple, peach, blood orange sorbet, pink grapefruit granita, anise hyssop and honeysuckle flavors. Silky on the palate and well-knit, sculpted by lively acidity and a nice push of minerality that shines on the finish. Drink now. 5,800 cases made, 1,500 cases imported."A.N."

"Showing good freshness and fruit quality in a challenging and very hot vintage, the Colli di Lapio 2022 Fiano di Avellino Romano Clelia shows nicely to both the nose and the palate. It opens to creamy citrus, golden apple and yellow papaya. Mineral tones are softly woven throughout. The secret of this wine is its high vineyard elevation, with vines at a cool 530 meters above sea level on volcanic soils. This is an ample production of 70,000 bottles."
