"Ripe lemon, citrus pith, ripe peach and Anjou pear aromas are delicately framed by almond, candied ginger, brown sugar and peony. The palate is round and gentle, with acidity that carries a graceful wave of citrus and pithiness, white pepper and white flowers through the midpalate. A saline and wet stone finish adds depth, keeping the wine dynamic and engaging. Hard to resist. Skurnik Wines, Inc. —A.C.C."

"This has a peculiar aroma, a bit like burnt corn or smoky bacon. It's enjoyably tight and taut on the palate. Fresh and energetic, this is a white Crozes with a linear shape and a sense of forward motion. From 60-year-old vines on south-facing granite and loess soils."

"The 2023 Crozes-Hermitage Blanc Les Pontaix is showing really well. Intense pear, lemon flesh, yellow apple, blossom and toasty subtleties all come alive. Touching the medium-bodied palate with bright freshness, the 2023 easily outperforms the 2022. A long, juicy finish neatly wraps it up."

"Orchard fruits, orange blossom, spice, sappy herbs, and mint all define the 2023 Crozes-Hermitage Les Pontaix Blanc, a slightly more complex release than the Hauterives Blanc. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, it has a fresh, focused mouthfeel with impressive purity and class. Made from 100% Marsanne aged 11 months in tank and barrel, it too is best enjoyed over the coming 4-6 years. Drink 2025-2031."
