"This has a wonderful interplay of delicate aromas, showing red berries, spices and graphite. Medium- to full-bodied with well-crafted, fine-grained tannins that deftly balance the restrained richness and support the long, delicate finish. Impressive. Drink or hold."

"Here's a beautiful introduction to the grenache grape in the Chateauneuf area, even if it has to carry the humble Cotes du Rhone appellation. Wonderful aromas of summer flowers and ripe red fruit that deftly fill out the full-bodied palate. Remarkably fine tannins for this appellation, and together with the licorice and sandalwood notes they give the lingering finish a lot of personality. Drink or hold."

"This wine shows impressive density and concentration, with baked bramble fruit, fresh pomegranate, violets, brown mushroom and a hint of wild mint. Bright acidity meets firm minerality, dynamically carrying dark cherry and licorice through the palate. Bitter tannins, clove, white pepper and sweet oak spice define the finish. Focused yet fresh, it™s ready to drink now. Skurnik Wines, Inc. "A.C.C."
