"The highly aromatic 2023 Irpinia Coda di Volpe opens in the glass with a burst of lemon zest, crushed green apples and ginger. A pretty inner sweetness emerges on the nose, contrasted by notes of grapefruit and lime, all supported by nearly oily textures. The palate impresses with a stimulating bump of residual acidity and an extended finish that leaves a minty herbal tinge lingering. The 2023 turns the pleasure dial all the way up."
