Coconut Rum, Diamond Reserve
Using molasses from coveted Demerara sugar which is exclusively grown in an equatorial river basin below sea level, Diamond Reserve is produced at Diamond Distillers Limited (DDL), the last Demerara rum distillery in Guyana, and by extension, the world. Operating since 1670, Demerara Distillers use a variety of stills, some of which are the oldest functioning in the world, all completely different in composition and size, yielding entirely different distillates that lead to the complexity for which these rums are known worldwide.
