"From a vineyard just four miles from the Monterey Bay, this is a distinctly coastal wine. Notes of enoki mushrooms, goat cheese, delicate white flowers, pears and sea spray. Pleasing tannins, concentrated flavors and long, textural acidity. Medium-bodied. Drink or hold."

"Taut, phenolic and grippy, the 2023 Chardonnay Kimari Vineyard turns out lots of marine-influenced Santa Cruz Mountains charm. Gently rounded and again very creamy in the mid-palate, the 2023™s inherent zip is nicely tempered by the character imbued by aging in neutral 500-liter puncheons. Oyster shell, lemon peel and apricot flesh out generously on the driven, precise finish."
