"The 2023 Langenberg is a field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Pinot Noir and other varieties grown on granite. A whole range of different pears fill the nose with their scent of peel and flesh. The palate is just as juicy with some pear peel phenolics and an abiding, smooth freshness. The body is streamlined, vivid, utterly fresh, wonderfully detailed and fine. Stony straightness meets fruit. (Bone-dry)"

"Very pure and pristine, with wonderful citrus freshness and haunting aromas of flint that electrify this on the very focused, medium-bodied palate. "The 2022 Langenberg is a field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Pinot Noir from this granitic site. Smoke, wood cinder and baked apple notes combine to great aromatic effect. The palate is more slender than the nose suggests, beautifully elongated and direct. This has a smooth touch of apple fruit and a lovely crunch from that phenolic edge. The 2022 has wonderful length, texture, concentration and structure. (Bone-dry)"
