"The 2022 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling GG comes from the middle part of the cru around the rocks emerging from this site and opens with a delicate, finely weathered slate aroma intertwined with perfectly ripe and elegant fruit aromas. Savory on the palate, this is a refined and persistently saline Riesling with salt and tension yet also a richness and generosity that maybe takes a bit of the thrill. However, this is a long-distance runner with remarkable complexity and length. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023."

"A fluid, streaming version, with appealing roundness to the core of lemon-lime and zesty peach. There's a whiff of petrol on the refined, mouthcoating finish, which is anchored by finely crushed slate. Drink now through 2035. 60 cases imported."

"The greatest wines all have something that sounds contradictory when you describe it plainly. This is an incredibly graceful dry Mosel riesling with super-refined peachy fruit that feels almost weightless in spite of the enormous concentration on the medium-bodied palate. It glides over you, then splash lands in an incredible cascade of wet stone minerality. So beautiful now, but it also has a great future ahead of it. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr GG comes from elevated parcels that completely avoid botrytis. Ripe lemon, earth and crushed chervil create a gentle nose. The palate is smooth and almost soothing with lemony yeast, brightness and a luminous gentleness. A distant but aromatic aspect of green orange peel highlights the long finish."
