"Racy and mineral-edged notes of preserved lemons, fresh ginger, candied lime zest and sea spray. The palate is light- to medium-bodied with high-tension acidity and focused aromas of grapefruit pith, lavender and oranges. Very pure and vibrant. Delicious. Drink or hold."

"Brought up in used barrels, the 2023 Estate Viognier is scented of white peach, grapefruit, panna cotta and honey. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with ripe citrus and stone fruit. It™s structured by vibrant acidity and has a long, saline-laced finish. 125 cases were made."

"The 2023 Viognier Estate is a pretty, brisk white. It offers plenty of varietal character, but the style is one that favors freshness and tension over the oily side of Viognier. Apricot, ginger, chamomile and spice open nicely."

"The cooler growing conditions create a unique Viognier by American or even Rhône standards. It is a fleshy Viognier laced with smoky flint, lemon verbena, and green apple aromatics. The palate has a pulsating energy, with peach skin flavours and bright notes of crushed slate. While the minerality rules the day, plenty of lean apple and grilled lemon peel carry the wine through."

"I always love this wine from Peay. Pouring a bright silver straw color, the 2022 Viognier Estate is a savory style of Viognier, with notes of lemon verbena, white peach, quince, and almond. Medium to full-bodied, it has a lovely, refined texture with a chalky feel and is mouthwatering on the finish. It is long on the palate and would be exceptionally paired with spring veggies with feta and peas. Drink over the next 8-10 years."

"The 2022 Viognier is absolutely gorgeous. There™s a bit more mid-palate creaminess and depth in this vintage, and that works beautifully in softening some of the edges that have been present in the past. Orchard fruit, ginger, mint, spice and apricot all grace this layered, super-expressive Viognier from Peay."

"The 2022 Estate Viognier unwinds slowly on the nose to reveal scents of peach, lemon verbena, baked bread and candle smoke. The light-bodied palate is flavorful and juicy, with a hint of texture that extends the finish."
